July 2021 has been a very colourful month for Malaysia as we joined the world to celebrate the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystems. We have seen powerful optimisms and strong positive signals, commitment and awareness from all sectors i.e., the government, the academia, the NGOs, CBOs, CSOs, the media, the corporate sector and the public at large. As we all agree, mangrove conservation requires everyone’s involvement to make it work and successful. Now let’s keep the spirit high to ensure our mangroves are better protected and conserved.
