Visa Requirements

Visitors to Malaysia must hold a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six months beyond the intended visiting period. Currency and Banking

 The Malaysian currency is Ringgit Malaysia denoted as RM (MYR). Currency exchange booths are available at KLIA. The exchange rates vary slightly among different banks or vendors. Participants are advised to have at least RM 400 (approximately USD 100) when they arrive at KLIA. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are common throughout Malaysia. Nonetheless, not all ATMs accept foreign debit or credit cards. Participants are recommended to check with their respective card company for applicable ATM locations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
