Research and Consultancy

 

Research is one of the important activities for CHREST members. They have involved in various research projects funded by UKM, national and international grants. The scope of research under CHREST can be grouped into five main clusters to include,

  • Human Resource Economics
  • Labour Economics
  • Education Economics
  • Human Resource Management
  • Operation and Quality Management

There are at least seven research areas covered by CHREST; human resource development, economic growth and development; human capital investment; human resource planning; human resource management; labour market issues and organizational behavior. Some CHREST members have actively involved in consultancies granted by the national and international bodies. The scope of the consultancy projects is similar with the research projects but the involvement is more prevalent among the senior members.
