Residence Hotel is just 10 minutes drive from Bandar Baru Bangi, a satellite city of Kuala Lumpur and reputed as the full-fledged modern academic town. Bandar Baru Bangi is connected to Kuala Lumpur through the Utara-Selatan Highway (PLUS). Bandar Baru Bangi is reachable by a 30-minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur in the north or 20 minutes form Seremban in the south. While Putrajaya, the new administration centre for the Federal Government is located only five-minutes drive from Bandar Baru Bangi.

Geographical Area of Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
Selangor is on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and is bordered by Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Negri Sembilan to the south and the Strait of Malacca to the west. It totally surrounds the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Selangor, with an area of approximately 7, 956 square kilometres, extends along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia at the northern outlet of the Straits of Melaka.
Climate
Malaysia has an equatorial climate with uniform temperatures throughout the year. Temperatures range from 32°C during the day to 22°C at night. The climate in the highland areas is cooler.
Currency
The Malaysian currency is the Ringgit (RM), which is divided into 100 sen. Notes range from RM100 to RM1 and coins are from 50 sen to 1 sen.
People
Malays who make up about 57% of the population are the predominant group with Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups making up the rest.
Language
Bahasa Melayu (Malay) is the national language but English is widely spoken. The ethnic groups also speak various languages and dialects.

Islam in the official religion but all other religions are freely practised.
