Ethnobotanical Studies

A number of ethnobotanical studies have been carried out to survey amongst the Malaysian community the use of medicinal plants in the treatment of diabetes, allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatism, skin diseases, fever, headache, gallstone and mosquito-related diseases, as well as those used in childbirth, control of mosquitoes and food consumption as ulam.
