Menerajui Farmasi Untuk Kesihatan | Advancing Pharmacy For Health

Gema Amal Insan (GAIn) Program

This program has been conducted annually since 7 years ago and is organised by the Faculty of Pharmacy UKM. It provided an opportunity for UKM pharmacy students to organise an entrepreneurship-based social service program. Since last year, this program was conducted in collaboration with an NGO named Persatuan e-Skill Wanita (PeLITA), UKM-CESMED and a community group in Semenyih. The program also received support from Hulu Langat Parliament office. The goals of the program were to help improve the living standards of the B40 community by exposing them with basic business theories and knowledge to market their product, which is a multipurpose detergent made from recycled cooking oil.
