Master of Science (Pharmaceutical Analysis)
The MSc (Pharmaceutical Analysis) is a science based program for pharmacist and other chemistry graduates. In this course, graduates will be exposed to advance knowledge on modern techniques and instrumental analysis, quality assurance and quality control of drug products. Teaching will be conducted through interactive lectures, industrial visits, hands- on training in practical classes and through data analysis workshops. This program aims to provide the graduates with specific knowledge and skills in the area of pharmaceutical analysis and to fulfill the required expertise in the public and private sectors.

This program aims to produce the required expertise in the field of pharmaceutical analysis in line with the development of the pharmaceutical and herbal industries in the country. The course structure is designed so as to provide graduates with specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in the area of pharmaceutical analysis and research.

Spectroscopic Techniques in Structure Elucidation, Bioavailability and Bioequivalence, Advanced Separation Methods, Pharmaceutical Bioanalysis, Research Project II, Pharmaceutical Quality Control
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree with at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 from UniversitiKebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) or any university recognized by the Senate.
- A minimum CGPA of 2.75 with at least two years of relevant working experience.
Foreign students who intend to enrol into this programme are required to obtain a minimum score of 550 for the paper-based TOEFL (equivalent to minimum score of 213 for the computer-based TOEFL or 80 for the internet-based TOEFL) or a Band 6.0 for the IELTS (minimum individual band is 5.5).
