Research group AP-2012-005, Institute of Islam Hadhari, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in collaboration with the Islamic Education Division, Ministry of Education, Malaysia has successfully organized 1st Instrument Building Workshop: j-QAF on 21 & 22 Rabiulakhir 1434 H equals 4 & 5 March 2013, at Puri Pujangga, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Institut Islam Hadhari, UKM has organized 4th UKM-Kyoto University International Symposium 2013 (ISIMCAS 2013) with the theme Islam, civilization and science. This symposium was jointly organized by Center For Islamic Area Studies, Kyoto University, Japan, Institut Alam & Tamadun Melayu (ATMA) and Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
