This website is intended for students in Malaysia interested in obtaining more information regarding the Physics Olympiad progamme in Malaysia.  The training for the Physics Olympiad Programme is conducted at the Department of Applied Physics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Malaysia.

The team members for the International Physics Olympiad (IPHO) competition are selected from a national physics olympiad selection test given in Jan-May of each year to Lower Six and pre-university students.  Short listed students would undergo rigorous training and the final selection will be based upon their performance in several tests conducted during the course of the training camps.  The tests would include theoretical and experimental aspects of physics.  The syllabus for the International Physics Olympiad can be obtained by clicking the following link -  Syllabus of the International Physics Olympiad  or download Syllabus (pdf)
