Loans
Students, academic and non-academic staff of UKM and all registered members of the library are eligible to use all library facilities. Library members have to produce their campus card (for UKM students or staff) or library card (for external members) when borrowing library materials. Campus cards and library cards are non-transferable.

FINES FOR OVERDUE MATERIALS
Overdue books are subjected to fines at the following rates:
General Collections RM0.20 per book per day
Red Spot Collection RM0.50 per hour (undergraduates)
RM0.50 per day (academics/professionals/administrative
staffs, postgraduates, part-time lecturers/tutors and
visiting Professors)
Fines are including holidays
FINES FOR LOSS OF MATERIALS
Users are subjected to the following procedures:
· The membership is immediately suspended until the fine is paid.
· Replace the book with the same or a new edition plus a processing
fee of RM50.00 or
· Pay 3 times of the current price of the book plus a processing fee of
RM50.00 or
· Penalty of RM1,000.00 per book for out of print title.
