Requirements for Admission to Undergraduate Programme
Passed in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Melayu July paper AND Passed in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least:
Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies AND Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects
OR
Passed in Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 OR Passed in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum of Jayyid Level
OR
Have a diploma / equivalent or other qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Malaysian Public University‘s Senate.
OR
Passed in STPM and previous year with at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in three (3) subjects including Mathematics OR Matriculation and previous year with at least a CGPA of 2.00
AND
Obtain at least a Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) and passed the admission interview conducted by the Centre for Communication and Digital Society, UKM.

Requirements for Admission to Postgraduate Programmes
MASTER PROGRAMMES BY COURSEWORK
A Bachelor degree with honours in the relevant field from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or any institutions of higher learning recognised by the Government of Malaysia;or Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor degree with other experience in a related field recognized by the SENATE of UKM; Other requirements as stipulated in the Graduate Studies Act, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY
A Master degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Government of Malaysia with minimum 3.5 CGPA; or Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (in a relevant field) with other relevant experience in a related field recognised by the SENATE of UKM; A research proposal in the intended field of study.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS (WHEN APPLYING) FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
English Language : TOEFL 550 or IELTS Band 6
