37 Students from Maldives Gained Knowledge on Nuclear Science at UKM

 BANGI, July 27, 2016 – A total of 37 students and four teachers from Villa International School, Maldives had the opportunity to gain knowledge on Nuclear Science at the National University of Malaysia’s Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), recently.

The delegation was given a very insightful briefing and motivation by the Chair of Nuclear Science Programme, Associate Professor Dr Faizal Mohamed before visiting the research and learning laboratory at the faculty.

The participants also interviewed Dr Faizal on his achievement as a young scientist and about the Nuclear Science programme offered in UKM.

The participants expressed their interest in pursuing their education in UKM and were impressed with UKM’s position as a research university, which was said, can be emulated by the Maldives.ukmnewsportal-eg
