Purifying Faith and Istitabah Module Developed to Preserve Muslim’s Welfares

BANGI, 6 September 2017- Institute of Islam Hadhari, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Penang Islamic Religious Council have collaborated to develop the Purifying Faith and Istitabah Module, to preserve the benefits and welfares of the Muslims.

Institute of Islam Hadhari Director Prof. Dato’ Dr Mohd Yusof Othman said this agreement was important as it aims to preserve the wellbeing of Muslims.

“This agreement is pivotal in simplifying decision making processes relating to Islamic religion affairs. It is also hoped that this will prevent from any defamation acts from happening,” he said.

Meanwhile, Yang Dipertua of Penang Islamic Religious Council, Dato’ Salleh Man said this agreement is hoped to control the purity of Islam.

“This module will ensure that the benefits and obligations of Muslims are protected and preserved.

“Hopefully this agreement will be blessed and valued by Allah S.W.T,” he said.

Also present at the ceremony were Penang State Islamic Council, Dato’ Dr Wan Salim Wan Mohd Noor and the Baitulmal Penang Islamic Religious Council Director, Puteri Irhanan Sapeli.
