BANGI, 8 May 2017 – Alumni are advised to support their alma mater by giving contributions to ensure that it can flourish and prosper.

UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Students and Alumni Affairs, Prof Dato’ Noor Aziah Mohd Awal said alumni should constantly engage in UKM’s activities as well as provide support and contributions to ensure that UKM can continue to move forward.

“Alumni should emulate Encik Nordin, who selflessly donated towards the establishment of UKM in 1968, with merely RM1, even though he is not a student or alumni.

“Therefore, I do not see why people who had benefited from UKM, especially alumni, are not able to contribute to UKM because this is where they gained knowledge,” she said at the Opening Ceremony of Hari Infrasiswa,  organised by the Students Representative Council of UKM (PMUKM), recently.

Also present at the ceremony were UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation, Prof Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman and President of PMUKM, Zainal Asnawi Asyraf Zainal Abiddin.
