UKM’s Mentor Minister Ready to Dialogue with Students

BANGI, 27 September 2016 – Malaysian Second Finance Minister, Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani, who is also UKM’s Mentor Minister is ready to dialogue with students to discuss and elaborate on any issues.

He said as UKM’s Mentor Minister, he will always be available in answering and discussing on any queries or issues from students.

“If you are not satisfied with the Government, I am willing to meet and have an intellectual discussion with you.

“Avoid participating in street demonstrations because it will not solve any problem,” he said while talking to the first year students in UKM, recently.

He said the problem lies when students are instigated by groups who are not responsible, to voice their dissatisfaction or opinion via street demonstrations.

“As a student, you are advised to not emulate that group because we have many channels that can be used to clarify on information,” he said.

He also advised to all of the new students be able to multi-task and be confident with their action.ukmnewsportal-eg
