Media relations ensure a healthy relationship between UKM and the external media. The principal function is to inform the media, both print and electronic, about activities taking place at UKM so that there can be wide news coverage. In addition, the function is also to act as a liaison between journalists and UKM experts by providing the necessary assistance.
Besides news coverage by the media, media relations also involve issuing statements to the media on important matters that they can publish.
