YBhg. Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim bin Saad
Dato Seri Dr Ibrahim Saad was appointed as Chairman of UKM Board of Director in April 2015. He has wide experience in education, government, sport and politic. He was the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Philippines. He held various senior governmental positions such as the Deputy Minister of Transport, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and Penang Deputy Chief Minister.
He was active in sport administration and has served as Secretary General of Football Association of Malaysia and Vice President of Olympic Council Malaysia. Dato Seri was the founding President of University Kuala Lumpur and was the founder head of UKM Centre of Education. He was the first recipient of LEE KUAN YEW Fellowship Award and received the Distinguished International Alumni Award from University of Wisconsin (USA).
