The Centre for Graduate Management was established in 1983. The Centre offers coursework or research-based programmes on both full time and part time basis. The Centre also collaborates with other national and international institutions of higher learning.

Graduate School of Business
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia pioneered the M.B.A. and D.B.A. programmes as early as in the 1980's under its Faculty of Business Management, and has been well-known for its high standards in business education. Since then, it has expanded its horizons and is gaining national and international recognition with the creation of a new entity, named as The Graduate School of Business (GSB).

Centre for Educational Extension
The Centre for Educational Extension offers industry relevant programmes, specially designed for working executives at the post-graduate diploma and Masters levels. Among the sectors we currently focus are Information Technology, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Systems, Business Administration and Economics.

Undergraduate
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia offers a wide variety of academic programmes covering both the arts and sciences. Currently, UKM has 13 faculties, with eight faculties located on the main campus in Bangi. The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dentistry are in Kuala Lumpur near the city centre. The Faculty of Medicine is in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur with the UKM Medical Centre
At the undergraduate level, the University offers a comprehensive range of courses, leading to Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Doctor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Islamic Studies, Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor Under Allied Sciences Programme, Bachelor of Dentistry, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education and Doctor of Medicine degrees. It is anticipated that in future, new programmes will be offered giving students a wider choice of courses to choose from thus enhancing UKM's academic profile.
