  STUDENTS' QUOTES

Shaliza Mohd Salleh, President of Students of English Language Studies (SELS): currently undertaking BA in English Language Studies.
The School is the ultimate place for language learning. I”ve learnt teamwork, improved my language and social skills, as well as being able to think critically and creatively. Friendly and eager students, and dedicated and experienced lecturers have made learning a tremendously unforgettable experience”.

Nur Adeela Othman, Maktab Perguruan Teknik Cheras lecturer and part-time RTM English language translator: currently undertaking MA in English Language Studies.
The School is reputed for offering a comprehensive English Language Studies programme. Although this level of study can be demanding and challenging, with committed lecturers abound, you know you’re always in safe hands. At the end of the day, you will feel completely satisfied”.

Chelvaranee Cumareson, retired A-Levels English language teacher; currently undertaking MA in Postcolonial Literature in English.
The School offers a fascinating area of study with its radical breakaway from the conventional norms of English Literature. Its stress on new perspectives of reading literary texts makes it a challenging and engaging exercise. The new revisioning strategies entailed in such readings generated in the programme add further interest”.

Arezou Zalipour,Iranian postgraduate student; currently undertaking PhD in Literature in English.
I find the school a soothing place, a union of academic attention and personal affection. This decisive factor helps particularly an international PhD student to feel at home”.
