PPE for Frontliners

Social Work Program has embarked on a project to collect donations to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Negeri Sembilan, in an effort to do its part in combating the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. In partnership with Islamic Relief Malaysia, Industrial Training and Rehabilitation Centre, and AQ Reka, this project managed to distribute 5000 sets of PPE, including gown, head cover and shoe cover to healthcare workers at the Hospital.

40 Hygiene Kits for Flood Victims

The project was conducted to assist flood victims at a temporary shelter based in Subang, Selangor. Through this project, a total of  40 essential hygiene kits were distributed to flood victims.

Webinar: 'Every Child Deserves Equal Right'

All children are born equal. They are entitled to equality in human dignity and with equal rights to fully develop their cognitive and human potential. Nonetheless, they are not born into equal circumstances. This webinar aims to explain these circumstances. A speaker from The Budimas Charitable Foundation was invited to share some insights on the welfare and the well-being of orphans and underprivileged children in Malaysia. A total of 39 social work students were participated and actively engaged during the webinar.
