The Law Office, Kuala Lumpur Campus was originally under the administration of the General Administration Department and was transferred to the Human Resource Department on April 1, 2004 under the name of the Disciplinary and Legal Unit. Then, on January 1, 2008, this office was placed under the administration of the Dean's Office and Director, UKM Medical Center where the name was changed to the Legislative Unit. When the restructuring of the management, the Legal Office, Kuala Lumpur Campus was given a new name and was placed under the Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kuala Lumpur Campus.
