SYNOPSIS: “Testing Business Idea”

Some entrepreneurs like to create a business with a new product in a new market.  It may indicate a big opportunity but on the other hand, there might be good reasons existing players have not already designed the product. I will share how I try to minimize the risks when exploring new business.

SYNOPSIS: “The Rise of Enterprise”

Suitable with our tagline of “Solar for all, All for solar”, Suncrox Solar’s vision towards global energy transition is all people should get access to electricity. The tremendous global growth of renewable energy means nothing when we fail to deliver a solution for 1.2 billion people to have a basic application as simple as light. 100% renewable world should be defined by available access to energy to all level of society. Access means they are no longer should be relying on massive infrastructure by the government or big organisation that will take time and natural resources. To date, Suncrox Solar has completed more than 70 commercial projects including rural, agricultural, resort and commercial in Malaysia and Southeast Asia namely Indonesia, Myanmar and Africa. As a social enterprise, we also have completed many social projects with almost 600 beneficiaries using cross-subsidization where we channel a portion of our revenue from commercial projects towards social initiatives. As a technology company, we must show and provide the most practical solution for public to adapt. Economy and social aspect must be emphasized first because there the values the users are looking forward above environmental aspect especially related to climate change. Most of the solutions directly or indirectly will contribute towards climate space if we can solve the problem related to well-being of the people.
