SYNOPSIS

Graduation on time or GOT reflects efficiency and productivity of Institutions of Higher Learning in human capacity building. GOT is also a measure of student’s excellence besides having conducted impactful research and having produced publications in indexed journals. The paths to successful and timely completion of a postgraduate degree by research involves making choices, decisions and plans to execute the study.  Choices include the research topic, institution, supervisory committee, peers and mentors. Decisions need to be made based on track record, funding and social needs. You can either fail to plan and plan to fail or be focused and follow the agreed plan to succeed.
