PERSIDANGAN KEBANGSAAN SAINS, TEKNOLOGI DAN INOVASI BAGI PENGURANGAN RISIKO BENCANA
National Conference on Science, Technology & Innovation for Disaster Risk Reduction

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa Akademi Sains Malaysia, dengan kerjasama Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA), Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Pejabat Penasihat Sains kepada YAB Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, dan Pusat Kajian Bencana Asia Tenggara, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (SEADPRI-UKM), akan menganjurkan Persidangan Kebangsaan Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi bagi Pengurangan Risiko Bencana DRR, yang telah diadakan pada ketetapan seperti berikut:

 Masa :               8.30 pagi – 5.00 petang

 Tempat :           Puri Pujangga, UKM Bangi

Persidangan Kebangsaan ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran semasa mengenai ilmu berkaitan pengurangan risiko bencana (disaster risk reduction, DRR) di Malaysia dan menawarkan ruang untuk memberikan input atas Pelan Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Negara yang dicadangkan untuk DRR. Selain itu, Persidangan ini juga merupakan platform kebangsaan untuk pertukaran amalan terbaik (good management practices) dalam DRR di kalangan penyelidik dan pengamal dalam menangani pengurusan bencana. Tuan/Puan dijemput menyumbang kertas kerja semasa Persidangan ini.

Universities, research institutes and civil society organisations are invited to contribute papers in the form of poster presentations for the five major Conference themes. The papers could encompass review papers, hazards assessment at the state or local levels as well as good management practices in disaster management. The submission of full manuscripts is encouraged, to be considered for publication in the ASM Journal after clearing the peer-review process. Kindly check the ASM website for the manuscript guidelines. The deadline for full manuscripts (in English) is 31 December 2017.
