Animal cabin focuses on transgenic animal experiment and is funded by MOSTI Technofund under collaboration with Innobiologics Sdn. Bhd. & Nuclear Technology Research. Our current ongoing projects are protein expression approach to study Alzheimers disease in transgenic mouse model and global gene expression study on Alzheimers disease mouse model (3xTg-AD) in response to neural stem cell transplantation. Major equipments available in animal cabin are near Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) facility, individually ventilated cages, i-box Imaging System, Biosafety Cabinet Class II & Morris water maze.
