This section assists in the application of the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) \/ Calling Visa, Employment Pass, Dependant Pass and Professional Visit Pass for the international staff appointed in UKM.<\/p>\n

Visa Approval Letter (VAL) \/ Calling Visa<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is a Single Entry Visa issued\u00a0by the\u00a0Malaysian Embassy \/ Consulate abroad\u00a0to a non-citizen\u00a0to enable\u00a0individuals\u00a0to enter Malaysia\u00a0after the\u00a0visa is approved by the\u00a0Immigration Department Headquarters. The application must be submitted through UKM upon received the appointment letter before the applicant enter Malaysia. The Single Entry Visa will be changed to the Multiple Entry Visa once the applicant arrived in UKM. This will allow holders for travel purposes.<\/p>\n

VAL\u00a0is required for appointment under the Employment Pass, Dependants Pass and Professionals Visit Pass to avoid the penalty charge (Journey Perform) from Malaysian Immigration Department.<\/p>\n
