Kajian ini memberi penekanan kepada pemilihan spesies tumbuhan asli Malaysia yang paling sesuai untuk penanaman pokok di kawasan bandar dan jalan raya. Pendekatan berasaskan bukti saintifik ini menyokong pembangunan landskap bandar yang lebih lestari, berdaya tahan terhadap perubahan iklim serta memperkukuh usaha pemuliharaan biodiversiti negara.<\/p><p>Kejayaan ini turut membuktikan kecemerlangan penyelidikan warga Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dalam menghasilkan ilmu yang berimpak tinggi serta relevan kepada keperluan negara. Ia sekaligus memperkukuh kedudukan UKM sebagai institusi rujukan utama dalam bidang biodiversiti, botani, ekologi landskap dan pengurusan alam sekitar berasaskan sains.<\/p><p>Tahniah dan
