Research: Neuroscience

Neuroscience is a branch of science that is concerned with the study of the structure and function of the nervous system. It involves multidisciplinary approach that encompasses molecular and cellular biology, anatomy and physiology, behavior and cognition, as well as other disciplines, to investigate, map and understand the brain and the mechanisms behind it. Neuroscience research in this department revolves around Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease research, investigating the existence and consequences in terms of mechanisms and behavior using phytochemicals and natural substances or herbs as well as using rat and zebrafish animal models.
