The Department of Anatomy has three research laboratories, namely Research Laboratory 1 (Proteomics), Research Laboratory 2 (Extraction), and Research Laboratory 3 (Genomics). These laboratories are located on the 9th floor of the Preclinical Building, Faculty of Medicine, HCTM. They are used by our researchers as well as postgraduate and undergraduate students for research purposes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This laboratory was established to study proteins. Currently, it is equipped with basic equipment capable of analyzing proteins in terms of quantification. The department has plans to further expand the scope of research in the future, including protein identification, isolation, and classification. Among the equipment available in this laboratory are the ELISA machine and homogenizer.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This laboratory was established for the purpose of plant extraction. Since most of the research in this department focuses on the role of natural herbs in combating diseases, producing plant extracts in-house, without relying on external laboratories, provides an advantage to researchers by reducing production time and improving product quality. This laboratory is equipped with equipment such as a freeze dryer and extractor.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The genomics laboratory was established to study, among other things, the structure and function of genomes. A genome is the complete set of DNA of an organism. Although the equipment available is relatively basic, such as the rt-PCR machine and image analyser, the department intends to further expand genomics research in the future, covering areas such as mapping, evolution, and genome editing.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
