Visit the Official Portal of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imi.gov.my\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Immigration Department of Malaysia<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;for more information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online via eVisa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is eVISA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>eVISA is a hassle-free online platform that simplifies the visa application process by issuing electronic visas to Foreign Nationals wishing to enter Malaysia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who Can Apply eVISA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foreign National from these countries are eligible to apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First Phase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:lower-roman\">\n<li><strong>Country<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>China<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>India<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nepal<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Myanmar<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bangladesh<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pakistan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bhutan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Serbia<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Montenegro<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You may apply for an eVISA anywhere in the world except Malaysia and Singapore.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note: The list of countries will expanded as more countries are added in stages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Long Do eVISAs Remain Valid?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>eVISA bearers are allowed to stay in Malaysia for no more than 30 consecutive days per entry. This is largely dependent upon the type of eVISA that you have.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Do I Get Started?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First time applicants may go to https:\/\/malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my\/evisa\/evisa.jsp&nbsp;then select \u201cI\u2019m New\u201d to begin the application process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registered users may select the \u201cReturning User\u201d option to log in to their account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Documents Are Needed to Apply For eVISA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are required to scan and upload the following documents to attach with your application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A recent passport-sized photo as stipulated in the Guidelines on the eVISA application website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The information page of your passport as shown in the Sample on the eVISA application website.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A valid and authentic return flight ticket.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Birth Certificate of applicants who are minors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional documentation is subject to the requirements of the country you are applying from.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is The Approval Process?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your application is subject to approval by the Immigration Department of Malaysia or the Malaysian Representative that you applied from.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please be informed that you may be required to produce supporting documentation for verification purposes or attend an interview at the Consulate General of Malaysia \/ High Commission of Malaysia \/ Embassy of Malaysia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Will I Be Contacted Regarding My eVISA Application?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be contacted via e-mail. You are advised to check you inbox regularly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do I Have to Print Out My eVISA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes. Your eVISA will be e-mailed to you in an A4-sized printout format.
