Abstract

Web-based Client Record Management System for Counselling (RekodWEB) is a user-friendly online system created to help Social Welfare Department overcome issues related to inefficient manual counselling record management and high data security risks. Before the implementation of this system, counsellors faced challenges in accessing client records quickly and difficulties in scheduling appointments. By using a MySQL database and a web-based system, RekodWEB enables more efficient, secure and accessible record management for counsellors at the Social Welfare Department in Petaling District. This system also supports task assignment, tracking and reporting, which facilitates better collaboration among staff. RekodWEB focuses on security and the accessibility of sensitive information to authorized users. Through the use of the Agile methodology, this system increases productivity and effectiveness in record management while also providing statistical data on the number of cases currently being handled.
