2nd International Symposium on Insects (ISoI) was successfully held on 1-3 December 2014 at Bayview Hotel, Melaka. The Symposium was organised by Entomological Society of Malaysia (ENTOMA) and co-orginised by Centre for Insect Systematics (CIS). The theme of the Symposium is Insects: Harnessing the Power, Unlocking its Pontential.
Prof. Dr. Ille C. Gebeschuber from Institute of Applied Physics (Vienna University of Technology, Austria) and Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) delivered her keynote speech entitled Biomimetic Nanotechnology Inspired by Insects. More than 100 oral and poster papers were presented in the Symposium.
