CATCH System Exhibition at the Launch of DOSH Malaysia’s IICMS

BANGI, 25 June 2026 – The Chemical Management Research Group (CMRG) of LESTARI UKM was invited to host an exhibition promoting the Classification Tool for Chemical Mixture (CATCH) system. The showcase was held in conjunction with the Launching Ceremony of the Integrated Chemical Information Management System (IICMS). Organized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia, the event took place at the Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC) and was officially launched by YBrs. En. Sutekno bin Ahmad Belon, Deputy Secretary-General (Operations) of the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia.

The IICMS system is an integrated platform introduced by DOSH to digitally empower and enhance workplace chemical management at the national level. Aligning with this objective, CMRG LESTARI utilized the designated booth space to introduce the capabilities of the CATCH system to the attendees. CATCH is a web-based application specifically developed by CMRG UKM researchers. It is designed to assist the industry in accurately classifying the hazards of chemical mixtures produced, ensuring compliance with current statutory and regulatory requirements.
