CMRG Organises Technical Training Session on Chemical Management with Henkel Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR, 14 July 2026 – The Chemical Management Research Group (CMRG) was invited to conduct a technical training session with Henkel (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. at KL Eco City. Delivered by Prof. ChM. Dr. Goh Choo Ta, the training focused on the management and legal compliance aspects of chemical handling in Malaysia, specifically focusing on the Occupational Safety and Health (Classification, Labelling and Safety Data Sheet of Hazardous Chemicals) Regulations 2013 [CLASS Regulations 2013].
Attended by 15 participants, the session aimed to enhance their understanding and capacity to comply with national regulatory frameworks. This program reflects CMRG’s ongoing efforts to advance capacity building and strengthen strategic collaborations with industry partners to foster safer chemical management practices across Malaysia.
