Advancing Sustainability in Structural Engineering and Construction
We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 19th East Asia-Pacific Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction (EASEC-19). Prospective participants are warmly invited to submit high-quality research contributions for possible inclusion in the conference. In the first stage, authors are required to submit an abstract for initial review by the committee to ensure its relevance to the conference theme and topics. In the second stage, authors whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to submit full papers for peer review. Each accepted paper must be accompanied by a paid registration and will be published in conference proceedings indexed by Scopus (Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering).
Please submit your abstract through the Conference Management Toolkit (CMT). Once submitted, your entry will be recorded in the system. Presenters are required to use the provided template for their extended abstracts. Below are some helpful tips to guide you through the submission process.

Full papers must be prepared using the official template provided in Microsoft Word format. Submissions must adhere strictly to the formatting guidelines and be submitted via the online submission system available at https://www.ukm.my/easec19/.
Authors are expected to thoroughly proofread their manuscripts prior to submission. The full paper (between 4 to 6 pages including references) or an extended abstract (maximum 3 pages including references) should be written in clear and correct English. The use of SI units is mandatory. Manuscripts should include a concise description of the subject background, a clear explanation of the authors’ work and methodology, a discussion of the significance of the findings, and a brief conclusion. Technical terms should be defined unless they are widely understood within the broader scientific community. Acronyms and abbreviations should be spelled out upon first use. Detailed formatting instructions and specific requirements are outlined in the template file provided below.
