Once again, Pharmaline has organized the annual Pharmaline Workshop! This year, non-UKM students were also invited to participate in this workshop. Two guest speakers, Syed Azmi Alhabshi and Dr. Mai Chun Wai were invited. Dr Ng Shiow Fern was the officiator of the event. Syed Azmi Alhabshi, a former UKM Faculty of Pharmacy\u2019s alumni (our super senior!) spoke passionately on his involvement in community service as a Non-Government Individual (NGI). A few interesting topics that he covered were on charity projects such as \u201cpregnant train\u201d, \u201cfree market\u201d, and pharmaculture. Meanwhile, Dr Mai, secretary of MPS-YPC, emphasised that communicating with the community requires the use of mass media, and care is required to deliver the information properly. Besides that, Dr Mai explained that under the MPS-YPC Pharmacy Columnist Programme, they aim to correct public\u2019s perception on the roles of pharmacists in today\u2019s society. A lucky draw session was also held during the workshop. Three lucky participants got to walk away with interesting prizes! Congratulations to the winners!
