\u201cFresh from the lab, off to the battle.\u201d<\/p>\n

The glorious National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2018 had returned! This time it was held from 2nd <\/sup>February 2018 until 4th<\/sup> February 2018 and hosted by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). 108 students were sent by Faculty of Pharmacy from The National University of Malaysia (UKM) to enter the battlefield.<\/p>\n

On the first day, the teams departed from the campus to Sri Manja Hotel to check in for their accommodation. A well rest was taken before the male tracks team began competing. The participants then enjoyed a divine dinner at the IIUM Grand Hall while the opening ceremony was held before calling it a day.<\/p>\n

Other games competition was held on 3rd<\/sup> February involving sports such as basketball, netball, takraw<\/em>, squash, futsal, badminton, table tennis, tennis, volleyball and swimming; while traditional games competition was held on the next day involving games such as congkak<\/em>, batu seremban <\/em>and many more. After the intense battles, the closing ceremony was held as medals were awarded to the winning teams.<\/p>\n

Once again, the participants from UKM did not disappoint us as they managed to obtain Gold in Table Tennis (Women Double) and Batu Seremban<\/em> games; Silver was won in the category of Table Tennis (Men Single), Volleyball (Men) and Squash (Women); Bronze was obtained in the category of Table Tennis (Men Double) and Tennis (Men).<\/p>\n

\u201cBe The Best, Fly Above The Rest\u201d It is with certain that UKM team will be returning again with profound strength and tenacity to win again in NPSC 2019!<\/p>\n
