On the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0of March, Pharmaline organised a one-day workshop at T1BE hall, UKM Kuala Lumpur. We had successfully invited Dr. Yow Hui Yin, from the School of Pharmacy, Taylor\u2019s University, Mr. Amirul Faiz bin Abdul Razak, the Science Officer and also the Webmaster of Faculty of Pharmacy, UKM and also Miss Evelyn Lim, a third year student from Faculty of Pharmacy, as speakers UKM to our workshop!<\/p>\n

The workshop was kick-started with a talk given by Dr. Yow, titled \u201cWriting with Success: Tips and Tricks to Better Articles.\u201d She shared some tips to overcome the challenges in writing such as lack of ideas, productivity and perfectionism. She quoted that writing is like building a wall brick by brick; only amateurs believe in inspiration. Then, there was an interesting interactive writing session to apply some of the tips learned.<\/p>\n

Confused over what the terms \u2018shutter speed\u2019, \u2018aperture\u2019 and \u2018exposure compensation\u2019 mean? \u00a0Have no fear \u2013 Miss Evelyn, a hobbyist photographer, took us through each of these important fundamental concepts of photography, so we not only got to know our cameras better, but also to have a better idea of how we can tweak camera modes and settings to get amazing shots!<\/p>\n

In the last session of the workshop, we had Mr. Amirul teaching Photoshop. At the same time, there were some hands-on practices using Photoshop.<\/p>\n

All in all, Pharmaline Workshop 2019 was a success. Come and join us next year!<\/p>\n
