{"id":2590,"date":"2019-05-28T21:08:04","date_gmt":"2019-05-28T13:08:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ukm.my\/epharmaline\/?p=2590"},"modified":"2021-02-01T18:11:33","modified_gmt":"2021-02-01T10:11:33","slug":"12th-mypsa-national-pharmacy-sports-carnival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ukm.my\/epharmaline\/12th-mypsa-national-pharmacy-sports-carnival\/","title":{"rendered":"12th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) is an annual event which is jointly organised by the Malaysian Pharmacy Students\u2019 Association (MyPSA). This year, NPSC aims to cultivate healthy lifestyle among pharmacy students, fostering soft skills in pharmacy students and also providing a platform to further hone students\u2019 talents in sports.<\/p>\n<p>The 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0NPSC was hosted by Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS). It began on 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of March and wrapped-up on 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0of March. Different public and private universities such as AIMST University, MAHSA University, University of Malaya (UM) and our very own National University of Malaysia (UKM) etc.\u00a0were involved.<\/p>\n<p>The 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0NPSC was officiated by <em><i>Yang Berhormat<\/i><\/em>\u00a0Mr. Steven Sim Chee Keong, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. On the 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0day, track and field events such as shot put and long jump sent all the participants into an adrenaline rush! Modern games such as futsal, volleyball, badminton etc. marked the second day. Swimming events, traditional games and also tug of war were conducted on the last day.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the closing ceremony was held at the Grand Hall of CUCMS. The winning university was CUCMS which successfully garnered 38 medals.
