Aim:<\/strong> To uphold the name and image of University Kebangsaan Malaysia in the eyes of local community.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony of Convocation of UKM was officiated by Chancellor of UKM, Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir. The UKM Convocation lasted for 5 days. There were many programmes which had been carried out in these few days such as arm wrestling, The Malaysian book of Records, ghost house, futsal, fun fair and many other interesting activities.<\/p>\n

A lot of postgraduate and undergraduate pharmacy students were involved in the exhibition. The theme for the Faculty of Pharmacy this year was \u2018Farmasi: Antara Sains Dan Seni\u2019. This exhibition was held at Dewan Gemilang of UKM. The topics of exhibition were related to pharmacy field such as formulation, Know Your Drug and Special Dosage Form (pessary). Besides that, Pharmacy students had demonstrated the way of using the peak flow meter to the public. They used the device to test the lung capacity and checked the recovery of asthma patients during the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The Convocation Day of Faculty of Pharmacy was held on 23rd of October 2012. There were 89 pharmacy students graduated this year. All students and lecturers gathered at Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak(DECTAR) for the awarding of certificate ceremony. All \u00a0graduated seniors threw their mortar boards as a closing ceremony for their undergraduate university life. To begin their new chapter of life, they will use the knowledge that they have learnt in their work and contribute to the society. Thus, we wish all the best to our seniors who have graduated. Let\u2019s make them as our role models and fight for our future too!<\/p>\n
