We are looking for ONE POTENTIAL FULL TIME MSc Student with strong interest in stroke research to conduct a project entitled: \u201cElucidation on the functional role of microRNA-21 as immunomodulatory key switch in vagal preconditioning against cerebral ischemic reperfusion injury\u201d.<\/p>\n

The project will apply PCR, cell culture techniques, animal surgery, and immunological assays that include western blot, ELISA and immunohistochemistry.<\/p>\n

Selection criteria\/Requirements:<\/p>\n

  1. Open to all.<\/li>\n
  2. A bachelor degree in Pharmacy\/Biotechnology\/Biomedical\/microbiology or in related field.<\/li>\n
  3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n
  4. Hardworking, proactive, and willing to learn new skills.<\/li>\n
  5. A monthly stipend will be provided.<\/li>\n
  6. Opportunity to convert research project to PhD.<\/li>\n
  7. Application deadline until the post is filled.<\/li>\n
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for IV.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
