Research title: \u201cAssessment of telotristat ethyl gastroprotective effect on murine intestinal mononuclear phagocytes with experimental colitis.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are looking for ONE POTENTIAL FULL TIME MSc STUDENT<\/p>\n

The project will look into the effect of agent inhibiting serotonin synthesis on the activity of gut-trophic mononuclear immune cells. This study will be used as a background research on finding new therapeutic target that can benefit patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease.<\/p>\n

Selection criteria\/Requirements:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open to candidates with a Bachelor degree in biomedical science, biotechnology, pharmacy, or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.0<\/li>\n
  2. Hardworking, independent, and willing to learn new skills\/things.<\/li>\n
  3. Able to speak and write in Malay (optional) and English proficiently.<\/li>\n
  4. Have a keen interest in scholarly pursuit involving reading, writing and presenting research findings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Deadline of application: now till 31st Aug 2021 or until the post is filled.<\/p>\n

    Duration: 2 years<\/p>\n

    Grant is available for this project and GRA scheme (allowance) is available for a registered MSc student.<\/p>\n
