Global Business Services Research Group

GBS research group present a strong research team that has been studying sourcing practices of accounting, business and IT services for over a decade. This group is dedicated to carrying out both academic and ‘practice’ high impact internationally renowned research on how organisations source and manage business and IT services in a global context.

Our extended network includes thought leaders, policy makers, and practitioners with whom we are confident in developing a high impact research network.  This includes Post-Graduates students focus on producing a stream of top academic research and practitioner oriented outputs.

In addition, the team develop educational programs that will bring together the various skills and expertise of all team members. This includes the Global Business Services Course to be extended to other local universities, company-tailored modules, working together with Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).With this approach we are hoping to enhance the need of specific GBS education offering and become a leader in GBS education.

Last but not least, the aim is to develop the GBSRG as a leading GBS research and training centre in Malaysia, Asia and beyond. Such impact, will be achieved through the network we develop with industry leaders, policy makers and the media.
