Physiotherapists maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability through health promotion, preventive healthcare, treatment and rehabilitation. Physiotherapy management is performed through movement and specific exercises, manual therapy, education, advice and other interventions. Physiotherapy undergraduate program at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is a four-year honours degree program.<\/p>\n<p>The programme curriculum incorporates theory, practice and research based components to develop core skills, knowledge and evidence based treatment for physiotherapy practice. Subjects include anatomy, physiology, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, neurology and special topics in physiotherapy.
