Strategy

Global Partnership as the Faculty of Law (FUU), National University of Malaysia (UKM), we strive towards Global Prominence towards world class Law School. Thus, as a Law School of UKM (one of the five (5) research university status in Malaysia), we are committed in legal expert services and referral point. Thus becoming major driver in UKM’s internationalization efforts toward a world class university and it is our vision to internationalizing the profile, brand and image of FUU, UKM as well as enhancing strategic global networks, collaboration and linkages.

FUU, UKM was built through aspiration of national movement by the people, for the people. Since its inception in 1984, FUU, UKM is known for being a law school that instill ‘Legal Mind With a Moral Heart’ in safeguarding and upholding rule of law and sovereignty of Malay Language (Bahasa Melayu). As globalisation takes place, FUU, UKM takes advantage of the new opportunities created in its stride without compromising our national language. Since late 1990s, FUU, UKM started to expand its outreach through strategic collaborations and engagement with international partners thus enhancing our research, staff mobility and expertise. Together with our partners, we aspire to lead the society of the world to become a learned, dynamic and moral society that contribute to the greatness of the world.

We look forward to establish relationship via bilateral and multilateral agreement, student and staff exchange, research, joint publication and supervision.
