To be published in the IconSpace2021 Conference Proceedings and eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore\u00ae as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full paper registration is valid for one paper only. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, or a publication-ready version of the paper.<\/p>\n
Each paper must be presented by an author of the paper in person at the conference. Request for permission to have the paper presented by a substitute presenter may be granted by the TPC Chairs under certain circumstances. A request of a substitute presenter must be sent to the TPC Chairs in advance before the conference date. The author, co-author or representative of the papers would be required to be present during the Q&A session and must be ready to answer any questions from the virtual audience.<\/p>\n
Authors of no-show papers wishing to appeal the no-show status of their paper must appeal by email to the IconSpace2021 organising committee (iconspace@ukm.edu.my), no later than 30 days after the start of IconSpace2021 and providing evidence to convincingly demonstrate that their absence was as a result of forces beyond their will and control or that an erroneous decision was made.
