{"id":4177,"date":"2020-11-02T03:46:01","date_gmt":"2020-11-02T03:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ukm.my\/ideaukm\/?p=2179"},"modified":"2020-11-02T03:46:01","modified_gmt":"2020-11-02T03:46:01","slug":"unesco-research-grants-in-green-chemistry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ukm.my\/ideaukm\/unesco-research-grants-in-green-chemistry\/","title":{"rendered":"UNESCO-Research Grants in Green Chemistry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The grant programme aims to promote the implementation of innovative research projects in green chemistry by young scientists that respect the 12 principles of green chemistry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a young scientist aged 39 (thirty-nine) or less (on the date of the deadline for submission of application)<\/li>\n<li>Hold a PhD or equivalent in chemistry or an interdisciplinary allied area;<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 3 (three) publications in recognized scientific journals; and<\/li>\n<li>Have submitted no more than one project proposal for the call for applications for which he\/she is submitting an application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research proposal Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out innovative scientific research projects in green chemistry that advance scientific knowledge and the use of its fruits needed to respond to one or a number of the 12 (twelve) principles of green chemistry.;<\/li>\n<li>Contain clear evidence that if awarded the PhosAgro\/UNESCO\/IUPAC grant will be used to carry out key research required for implementation of the proposed project;<\/li>\n<li>Include a work plan of the project that shows that the research proposed may be completed in one year; and<\/li>\n<li>Contain evidence that the research proposed in the work plan of the project will be carried out by the candidate, either individually or with the team of scientists he\/she may be heading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Grant Size and Duration :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The maximum amount is US$30,000 (thirty thousand US dollars) for each research grant.<\/li>\n<li>The duration of the grant is one year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Dateline:<\/strong> 31 January 2021<\/p>\n<p>Retrieved From: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.unesco.org%2Fnew%2Fen%2Fnatural-sciences%2Fscience-technology%2Fbasic-sciences%2Fchemistry%2Fgreen-chemistry-for-life%2Fhow-to-apply%2F&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AFQjCNH91w9cNeEcZQPHnP-MuK7Z3YQimQ\"><strong>http:\/\/www.unesco.org\/new\/en\/natural-sciences\/science-technology\/basic-sciences\/chemistry\/green-chemistry-for-life\/how-to-apply\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The grant programme aims to promote the implementation of innovative research projects in green chemistry by young scientists that respect the 12 principles of green chemistry.
