Union\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Erasmus+<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; program. Erasmus+ provides students and staff opportunities to study, train, and gain experience in Europe.<\/p><p>The project has three priority areas:<\/p><ol><li>Support new area studies at the Centre for Occidental Studies (IKMAS\/UKM)<\/li><li>Cooperate in methodology training and applied social research<\/li><li>Carry out joint projects in the area of regional aviation integration programs between IKMAS and Frankfurt UAS<\/li><\/ol><p>The Exchange program provides for short-term-mobility, study semesters, or research fellow\u00adships. The program is open to students (from undergraduate to postgraduate level) in UKM as well as staff and fellows associated with the Centre for Occidental Studies, IKMAS. This program wants to attract students:<\/p><ul><li>who already have some socio-political or economic experience (practical or study), and<\/li><li>who want to embark on regional and comparative studies of governance, markets and society in Germany.<\/li><\/ul><p>Frankfurt UAS (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-university.de\/en\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>) is a university of applied sciences. All study programs include real-world exposure, and lecturers have years of practical experience. Frankfurt UAS also offers an International Summer University on European Studies at a reduced price for students from partner universities (<a href=\"http:\/\/internationalsummeruniversityfrankfurt.de\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>).<\/p><p>Spending a semester (or more), studying the language and the socio-economic environment and political &#8216;culture&#8217; outside Malaysia in another continent will provide students with insights that cannot be gained otherwise, and provides them with an advantage invaluable in a connected world.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1773\" aria-expanded=\"false\">GRANTS AND FELLOWSHIPS<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1773\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1773\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><h3>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mobility-Grants<\/h3><p>Students from UKM can spend one semester at the Frankfurt UAS, and attend either of the 3 following course-packages (for detailed information see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-university.de\/en\/studies\/international-office\/incomings\/exchange\/course-choices\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>):<\/p><ol><li><em>Transnational Social Work<\/em>\u00a0at the\u00a0<strong>Faculty of Health and Social Work<\/strong>, which gives an understanding of intercultural management and transnational working environ\u00adments as well as an insight into working with culturally distinct communities and social services in Germany. The modules include a German language class.<\/li><li>International Business Administration at the\u00a0<strong>Faculty of Business and Law,\u00a0<\/strong>which covers Marketing, Logistics and Production, Financial and Management Accounting, Statistics, Macro-economics or<\/li><li>International Finance at the\u00a0<strong>Faculty of Business and Law<\/strong>, which includes modules such as Investment Analysis, German and European Banking, Monetary Economics and ECB Watch, Multinational Finance, International Taxation, etc.<\/li><\/ol><p>Duration: <strong>up to 5 months (starting March 2022).<\/strong><\/p><p>Field of Study of applicants: Social Sciences or Economics and Management<\/p><p><em>Admission requirements:<\/em>\u00a0Undergraduates (min 2nd year) or post-graduates<\/p><h3>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Research fellowship<\/h3><p>Students from the research-based study programs in social sciences at IKMAS\/iKON, preferably under the theme of social inclusion or social policies, can apply for a research fellowship.<\/p><p>Duration: <strong>up to 8 months (from December 2021 to July 2022).<\/strong><\/p><p>Workplace: <strong>Institute for Migration and Intercultural Communication<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-university.de\/en\/about-us\/faculty-4-health-and-social-work\/forschung\/forschungsinstitute\/center-of-competence-for-social-intervention-research\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>).<\/p><p>Admission requirements: Postgraduate candidates from IKMAS study programs<\/p><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4>Grant and travel allowances:<\/h4><p>The grant is 800 \u20ac per month. Erasmus+ provides students and staff opportunities to study, train, and gain experience in Europe.<\/p><p>The project has three priority areas:<\/p><ol><li>Support new area studies at the Centre for Occidental Studies (IKMAS\/UKM)<\/li><li>Cooperate in methodology training and applied social research<\/li><li>Carry out joint projects in the area of regional aviation integration programs between IKMAS and Frankfurt UAS<\/li><\/ol><p>The Exchange program provides for short-term-mobility, study semesters, or research fellow\u00adships. The program is open to students (from undergraduate to postgraduate level) in UKM as well as staff and fellows associated with the Centre for Occidental Studies, IKMAS. This program wants to attract students:<\/p><ul><li>who already have some socio-political or economic experience (practical or study), and<\/li><li>who want to embark on regional and comparative studies of governance, markets and society in Germany.<\/li><\/ul><p>Frankfurt UAS (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-university.de\/en\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>) is a university of applied sciences. All study programs include real-world exposure, and lecturers have years of practical experience. Frankfurt UAS also offers an International Summer University on European Studies at a reduced price for students from partner universities (<a href=\"http:\/\/internationalsummeruniversityfrankfurt.de\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>).<\/p><p>Spending a semester (or more), studying the language and the socio-economic environment and political &#8216;culture&#8217; outside Malaysia in another continent will provide students with insights that cannot be gained otherwise, and provides them with an advantage invaluable in a connected world.<\/p><h1><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/h1><h1><em>GRANTS AND FELLOWSHIPS<\/em><\/h1><h3>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mobility-Grants<\/h3><p>Students from UKM can spend one semester at the Frankfurt UAS, and attend either of the 3 following course-packages (for detailed information see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frankfurt-university.de\/en\/studies\/international-office\/incomings\/exchange\/course-choices\/\">&gt;&gt;<\/a>):<\/p><ol><li><em>Transnational Social Work<\/em> at the <strong>Faculty of Health and Social Work<\/strong>, which gives an understanding of intercultural management and transnational working environ\u00adments as well as an insight into working with culturally distinct communities and social services in Germany.
