MEMS/NEMS & NANOELECTRONICS

Microelectro-Mechanical Systems and Nanoelectro-Mechanical Systems

memsnems_cover

Focuses on designing and fabricating micro and nanoscale electromechanical systems for advanced applications. We specialize in creating highly sensitive devices, from acoustic actuators to a wide range of sensors—including strain, pressure, gas, and biosensors—often utilizing novel low-dimensional materials. A significant portion of our research is dedicated to BioMEMS and biomedical applications, including developing microfluidic chips and antibacterial surfaces. We also explore energy harvesting with piezoelectric nanogenerators and innovate new fabrication processes to build next-generation devices.
