In this project we develop pressure sensor implementing suspended graphene based membrane as sensing element that will have its potential application in health monitoring system and nano-Microphone implanted in trachea (vocal fold).

The primary objective of the project is to investigate the mechanical and electrical properties of graphene material for pressure sensing purposes. The sensor is expected to have orders of magnitude higher sensitivity per unit area when compared to conventional pressure sensor.

Requirements:
The candidate is highly motivated and enthusiastic, with an interdisciplinary view.
The candidate has strong academic abilities and the ambition to become an excellent researcher with proven qualifications for, doing research and labwork.

Successful candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
– M.Sc. degree in applied physisc, microelectronics, electronics or electrical engineering with excellent results
– Master degree with CGPA minimum 3.00 or having experience in MEMS or microelectronics fabrication.

For those who are interested, please submit your CV and Master Degree transcript to:
Assoc.
